Rockettes @ DE Again!ROCKETTES @ DE! The Radio City Rockettes visited Dance Expression for the 2nd time on 9/22/11. Dancers got to learn the world famous choreography from the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, even conducting a kickline! This visit was extra special as it was won through a Facebook Contest where we received an amazing amount of support. Thank you to all those who made this experience possible! |
Robert Taylor Jr. WorkshopMASTER WORKSHOP WITH ROBERT TAYLOR JR. On 9/17/11, Dance Expression Dancers were honored to have dance teacher Robert Taylor Jr. back to teach a Hip-Hop workshop after his journey on "So You Think You Can Dance" as a contestant in the Top 20! Dancers enjoyed the class as well as hearing about his television experience! |
New Jersey NetsDance Expression "Company Dancers" enjoyed dancing center court on February 6th, 2011 at a New Jersey Nets Basketball Game at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. Dancers performed to a Jazz/Hip-Hop Mix and had a great time meeting Net's Mascot, "Sly" and some Nets Dancers too! |
Daisy Jopling PerformanceDance Expression was recently selected to dance with the Daisy Jopling Band at the Paramount in Peekskill on Saturday, March 19th, 2011. We opened up with a hip-hop dance "The Composer", soloist dancer, Staci Barton, performed a beautiful lyrical piece to Daisy's Violin and then all the dancers joined Daisy and the Band for a big Finale number along with Hendrick Hudson Choral members. Daisy put on a fantastic show and Dance Expression is honored to have been a part of it! |
DE Dances @ MSG!On January 15th, 2010, Dance Expression dancers performed at the Knicks vs. Toronto game at Madison Square Garden. Dancers had an experience of a lifetime as they entertained Knicks fans and danced to "Bring Em Out" choreographed by Jessica Grafer and "Please Don't Stop the Music" choreographed by NY Dragons Dancer coach Phyllis Montalvo. Great job girls, Dance Expression is very proud of you all! |
Rockettes @ WestchesterTuesday, September 29th, 2009 the Dance Expression of Westchester students were visited by two special quests, Radio City Rockettes! They selected our studio to hold a Master Workshop teaching choreography from the Christmas Spectacular followed by a Q&A session and photo op. We were visited by Channel 12 News, the Journal News and Westchster Family Magazine. It was a great time had by all and we are truly honored to have the Radio City Rockettes in our studio! |
New Dutchess County Location Announced!Dance Expression opened a second studio in Dutchess County. The new studio is located in the Village of Fishkill on Rt. 52 in the CVS Plaza. The GRAND OPENING event was held on August 29th, 2009. K104 hosted the event and the Westchester Company Dancers put on a great performance! |
